HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Christmas Anyone!
Yes I'm married to the Christmas Light King. Nate did another great job on our house. I love it!
Decorating our new fake, yes we broke down and finally bought a fake christmas tree. Who knew real trees in Alaska would be so expensive. Highway robbery. We love our tree though. And no mess :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanskgiving was fun! Although we did miss our families. Nate and Luke made amazing, mouthwatering pies. The crusts, dare I say, rivaled Larry's famous crusts. Everyone loved the pie. We went out and built a sledding hill in the front yard and played in the snow before we went to dinner. We had dinner with our good friends Blake and Kerri Schow, they have 4 kids that the boys have made great friends with.  Dinner was great we split up the cooking and it was really delicious.

Uncle Beau OK Go

Beau is in the tan pants.

Luke on Ok Beau!

On school mornings the boys like to wake up to "The Chipmunks Christmas" and "Ok Go". When the Ok Go plays it also plays the video of my wonderful brother Beau and his friends doing their lip sink to the song. Today Luke asked to listen to it after lunch while I was on the computer so I turned it on and he started dancing on the bed. I got the video camera out but he didn't want to be video taped to I put the camera on the desk. and caught this little clip. I have added the clip of my brother as well because it is hilarious and then you will get an idea of what Luke is doing. Hope you enjoy!

Luke got a hold of the Camera

He loves his dog! She is definitely his dog. She had her first hair cut last Friday. We don't love it this short but it is easier to dry her and will grow out fast (we hope). She looks much more girly.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Well I finally made something fun for Halloween. We got invited to a Halloween party with the Spanos' a family from our ward. In walked my friend Katie (Thayer) Willson's brother Paul and his family. That was fun.

Braxton was Jengo Fett and Luke was a Horse, he says. I tried to tell him he was a cowboy with a horse but, he just wanted to be a horse. He picked out the costume and loved it.

Luke Galloped from house to house saying, " giddy-up" It Trick-or-treating didn't last too long. It was freezing. We went to a few neighbors homes and then did trunk-or-treat which also went very fast.

We had the missionaries over Elder Terry and Salisbury, since they were only allowed to be at members homes or ward activities, they are very nice and the boys love having them over. I think it reminds them of Uncle Beau on his mission. We taught them one of our new favorite dice games "Farkel" Yes it is a game you can buy at the store.

Playground Fun ;)

Well about two days after we got home from Utah Brax was back at school and got pushed off the play set and hit his head on the climbing pole on the way down to the ground. He woke up the next day and his eye was swollen shut. He was pretty nervous but the swelling went down and then he thought he looked pretty tuff.
