More Henry: )

Henry loves to play with his toys now. He is reaching up and grabbing them. He loves to eat his hands and slobber all over them. We give him the plastic rings for him to hold and eat, he seems to really like them. He loves to talk to his brothers and always gives them a big smile when they come to say hi and hold him.

Alaska Zoo!

We went to the Alaska zoo with our friends Kate and James. It was a gorgeous sunny day. Luke didn't want his picture taken of course so we tried to catch him. Some worked okay. I never thought it would be warm enough to wear shorts, especially on Hank.

Henry had a wonderful time being outside in the sun.
They have two Polar bears that wanted to hide. We had to bribe Luke with Mentos for the picture.
The OX were huge!
Luke enjoyed watching the wolf eat his food. There teeth are so sharp.
The Bears were Lukes favorite. This one was sleeping right there at the fence. When he woke up Luke said,"I bear" and the bear looked right up at him. It was a little scary knowing we could run into one of these in our neighborhood. Luckily no sighting yet:)

Baby Shower:)

Well I hosted my first baby shower. My friend Kate is having a baby girl, Avery, on Thursday. I had lots of help from my dear Mom's even though they are far away. I called them many times for ideas and what to do and cook.

I got the cute idea for a diaper cake present from my mom. I haven't seen it before and thought it was cute!

For the favors I found some cute paper and wrapped pink gum.

We had a great time with the girls chatting about baby things and deliveries.

Henry loves to move!

Henry is so happy on his changing table. He will move so fast and coo so loud. He looks like he is running on his back. He would probably play there all day if we didn't have other things to do.

Alyeska Ski Weekend

We took the boys down to Girdwood, 30 minutes south of Anchorage for a weekend getaway. We stayed at the Hotel Alyeska where we were able to ski out of. Nate and I took turns on Saturday skiing.

Braxton couldn't wait to hit the slopes.

Nate skied but not as much as Braxton and I. Nate made sure that I had plenty of time to be out on the mountain. It was incredible! The view was amazing. Braxton needed little reminding of how to ski, "I know mom." He really did know he picked up really quick and had a blast even when he did an accidental front flip down the hill.

Hank was just happy to play with Luke and dad in the hotel room. Luke also had fun he loves staying at "our hotel" he calls it. We also got to swim on Friday night for about 10 minutes. The boys didn't care how short it was, they were just happy to go.

Happy Easter!

We had a beautiful Easter. It began with snow! We had a wonderful day going to church and spending time with neighbors and friends.

We had brunch and an Easter egg hunt with our neighbors before church. Anthony and Alex are on the couch with Brax. Jake and Alyssa are by Luke.

We finished the day having dinner with the Schow's. The kids had a good time dying eggs!

Mush, Gee and Ha!

New words we got to use from our Alaskan vocabulary
Our dear friends the Schow's invited us on Saturday to a dog sled race. Their friend Kelly is preparing his dogs for the Iditarod in 2011, so he invited Hayden (green 10) and Tate (blue 8) their son's to do a Junior relay race for Easter. We had such a great time. Nate and I both got to run our own dog sled while following Kelly. We had such a great time!
Kelly with Blake and Kerri's daughter Sadie and Luke, in the sled.

Yes that is me, with Brax in the sled.

There is my ruggedly handsome husband mushing the dogs with Brax

Luke and Tate anxiously waiting for the race to begin.
