Moose on the Loose

Yes, we had a Moose in the front yard! It was quite the event. Apparently he is only 1 year old and he and his mother came by a lot last year. But here he is on his own now. It only took us about 3 weeks of being here.

Thunderbird Air Show June 28

Well, after a long 2 hour wait in the car to get close enough to walk into the show we finally made it. Really we were only 15 minutes away from home.

Braxton and Luke loved to be able to go inside all the different planes and helicopters. Braxton especially loved the Blackhawk. Luke enjoyed it but didn't want to pose.

The Thunderbirds show was amazing we couldn't believe how close they fly together. The F22 was awesome to see up close as well as in the air. We had a great time!

ALASKA HERE WE COME!

It is official, we are moving to Alaska. Nate has received a promotion at work. We are so proud of him and how hard he works for our family. He is an amazing husband and father. He will be going up for 3 weeks in May to work and help scope out the area for a new home. We are very excited to have such a great adventure for our family.
We will be about 6 hours south of my Aunt Maggie and Uncle Rob. There son Bjorn and his wife Beth live in Anchorage which is were we will be living or close to it. I also have another cousin Danny who is serving in the Anchorage, Alaska mission. So, we are thrilled to have some family around. here is an open invitation to anyone
who would like to come see the sites of Alaska while we live there you are welcome in our home.
We will miss our dear wonderful friends that we have made here in Meridian. They have been a wonderful part of our lives and have enjoyed there company.
We will obviously miss our family as well. They have been so supportive in all that we have done throughout our lives and we will miss them terribly.

Luke is Potty trained!

Luke is 2 1/2. He is a happy boy. He is now on his way to being completely potty trained. He has been doing really well. We are soooooo excited! He loves our new puppy She-Ra and we here about it in every prayer he says. He adores his big brother Brax and tries to do everything just like him. Luke loves to tell you all the details about what he is doing or wants. Last night he told me that he was a very nice boy because he doesn't hit his friend Jordan. Because he is so nice he said he want's a "DS" gameboy, and he wants it to be "blue like my crocs, not tonight it's to late but another day". He is such a fun boy to have around.

Spring Break

Braxton had spring break this week so I let him invite a couple of friends over for a pizza party. They had all earned BOOK IT coupons and thought it was fun to go pick them up.
Then they created their own rice krispy treats. I love to watch and listen to all the entertaining conversations a 6 year old has with his friends.
I set up Braxton's crochet set that the Easter bunny brought us, and explained a simple way to play for Braxton and his friends Kai and Easton. Later when I went out to make sure they were getting along okay I found them pretending to be old men walking with crutches and "double guns".

New Hobby

It is official, we LOVE to ski. I have always loved skiing. For our anniversary Nate asked what I would like. I told him I would really like to go skiing with him. Our friends Chris and Katie were so kind to take on the task of watching the boys while we went night skiing on our anniversary. Nate had one lesson that night and he and I had a blast the rest of the evening. Since then Nate got the bug. He loves it. I am so happy! I love to ski. We took Brax with us a couple times, once with our friends the Zweifels. Braxton really got the hang of it on his second trip. We are hoping that maybe next year we can get Luke up on the slopes.
So this is only Nates 4th time skiing. Doesn't he look Great;) Apparently I don't know how to work the camera
